Letter of Thanks from MANA President

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maghreb Association of North America (MANA), I would like to thank each and every one of you who joined us at Eid al-Adha Farm Trip and Eid Party at Zam Zam Banquet Hall. We pray to Allah (SWT) to always keep us united as one community.

Celebrations like these define the connections in our community and gather us in a cause that is greater than anything else, which is worshiping and glorifying Allah (SWT) and obeying His commands.

The exchanging of congratulations, the wishing of happy Eid among our community members, and the love and connection was very touching. The chanting of Eid takbir and the prayer were moving. We all enjoyed listening to brother Abdallah Bendada’s inspiring and spiritually uplifting Khutba to the community.

But MANA didn’t stop there. The next Sunday, we had a Eid party at Zam Zam Banquet Hall. More than 400 people attended this event. Indeed, it was a night of celebration for people of all ages. The older children enjoyed the Safari Land trip by bus, while the younger ones loved the clown show, arts & crafts and movie at Zam Zam Banquet hall. Adults enjoyed the variety of programs including the wonderful Palestinian Debka Group. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Eid!

Of course, we thank Allah (SWT), who made this and all other things possible. We would also like to thank our dedicated community members, who worked so hard to help us. A very special thanks to our dedicated board members and volunteers, the youth including but not limited to Hajar, Aicha and Sofiene, and everyone else who helped make this a memorable event. Eid ul-fitr 2010 Thank You Letter

Dear MANA board members, friends and supporters:

Assalamu Alaikoum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Allah Exalted, then you all for the successful Eid party which MANA held at ZamZam banquets. This year’s Eid celebration was truly an eventful one. Many have expressed their excitement about the warm environment, good company and the variety of our programs at the party. Our children also had an excellent evening, and al-Hamdulillah, the trip to Safari Land was safe. We would like to let you know that this event would not have been possible without the hard work of our volunteers and the continuous support of our community.

MANA Participation at Chicago Arabesque 2010

MANA has successfully participated in the fourth annual Chicago Arabesque which was held from Thursday, June 24th to Saturday, June 26th, 2010 on Daley Plaza. This is MANA’s first participation in Chicago Arabesque.

MANA (board) members have proudly helped different people by answering their questions and informing them about the Association’s activities and mission.

As our 2010 Summer Camp quickly approaches, I would like to take a moment to welcome all of you. While many of you are returning to the Camp, many others are new and coming from neighboring states. This summer promises, with Allah’s permission, to be an exciting and enriching experience for all our camp guests both children and adults. I want to specifically express my appreciation and thanks for your continued support for this annual event and enthusiasm as a contributing part of MANA’S community.

Assalam Alaikum
On behalf of MANA executive committee members, I would like to, first, thank all the brothers and sisters who have donated to help cover the expenses of the Eid party. Your continuous financial support, which is vital to the survival of MANA’s various programs and activities, is greatly appreciated. Once again, you have demonstrated that we are a generous community whose members are serious about its future and most importantly the future of its children.
Moreover; I would like to congratulate the sisters, a group of dedicated and hardworking individuals, for the well organized and successful SAFARI LAND event.(Buses issue But we learn from our mistakes)
Lastly, I would like to thank all the volunteers, brothers and sisters, for helping to organize the Eid party as well as the Iftar of Ramadan.
